I am Pauline de Mare, PRI therapist. I work in my practice PRI-Mare consciousness development and therapy in Amsterdam at the Integral Medical Center and in Zeist. Originally, I am a physical therapist specializing in oncology and also in psychosomatic complaints. I saw how much influence stress and emotions can have on physical symptoms. As a PRI therapist, my affinity lies with stress-related complaints such as Burnout, Misunderstood Physical Disorders (SOLK), Anxiety and Panic complaints. My clients have all ages and I also see relatively many students. What appeals to me most about PRI is the clarity of the method. The PRI approach starts from the here and now while being profound. In doing so, we get to the core quickly. It is actually more of a theory of consciousness. The method is very empowering, it quickly gives a lot of insight and perspective and you are given tools to work with yourself. This way you don’t become dependent on your therapist or other caregivers, and you can apply it whenever you need it.
PRI not only makes you feel much better emotionally, it also often results in physical symptoms diminishing or even disappearing.
